RuYi Jian

The Ruyi Jian ("As-You-Wish Sword") blends Chinese myth and martial arts lore. Named after the ruyi (a ceremonial scepter symbolizing power and luck), this elegant weapon appears in wuxia tales as a flexible, near-unbreakable blade that "adapts like thought." While no physical examples exist, its concept reflects Daoist ideals of harmony—later inspiring real swords with flowing designs. Today, it’s a metaphor for mastery in kung fu films and novels.
